Donde lieta uscì from La Bohème 「ミミの別れの歌」オペラ「ラ・ボエーム」より
This is my new YouTube video. Aria of Mimì “Donde lieta uscì” from the opera “La Bohème” by Giacomo Puccini.
Mimì, who noticed that her beloved Rodolfo treated her quite harshly, by chance listened to a conversation betweeen him and a friend. He told his friend that Mimì was terminally ill. She needs a doctor but the poor poet Rodolfo cannot afford to pay for one. He says that love by itself cannot cure an illness. He pretends not to love her and hopes she can find a better rich man for her. Mimì was shocked that her illness was indeed so severe that she was overwhelmed by emotions, started crying and a severe cough brought on by tuberculosis emerges. In this moment Rodolfo notices her presence and runs to her. She calms down and starts singing this aria. She will leave him but if he wants, he should only keep the pink cap, which he gave her when they met, as a token of their love. Without any ill will they separate.

YouTubeに新しい曲を載せました。ミミのアリアで、日本ではよく「ミミの別れの歌」等と名付けられている曲です。ジャコモ・プッチーニ作曲オペラ「ラ・ボエーム」からです。
最近、恋人であるロドルフォから邪険な扱いを受けていると感じていたミミは、偶然、彼と友人との会話を物陰から耳にします。それによると、ミミは酷い病気で、（貧乏な詩人である）ロドルフォには、何もすることができない、愛だけでは治すことができないんだ、と。冷たい素振りを見せて、彼女が自分から去り、もっと良い、金持ちの愛人を見つけるように仕向けているのだ、と。それほど酷い病気を患っているのだと知ったミミは、ショックのあまり泣き始めますが、それは肺結核の咳の発作を引き起こさせます。ミミの存在に気が付いたロドルフォは、彼女の傍に駆け寄ります。しかし、落ち着いた彼女は、この曲を歌い始めます。「お別れしましょう、しかし、もし、あなたが望むなら、出逢いの日にあなたが贈ってくれた薔薇色の帽子を、私達の愛の思い出にとっておいてください。恨みっこなしでお別れしましょう・・・」

Music instrument manufacturing shop in Vienna ウィーンの楽器工房
During a walk in Vienna, by chance I found a music instrument manufacturing shop. Double basses (Kontrabass) are produced here. Here in Vienna it is interesting because such diecoveries can be made. Then I think that Vienna deserves the title “city of music”. During dark and cold Winter days, the shop’s light lured me closer and in my head I heard funny double bass sounds warminf my heart.
ウィーンの街を散歩していて、偶然、楽器工房を見つけました。コントラバスを製造しているようです。ここ、ウィーンでは、このように興味深い発見をすることがよくあり、流石に「音楽の都」と呼ばれるだけあるなあ、と実感します。暗くて寒い冬の日に、工房の明るい光が私を招いてくれました。そして私の頭の中では、愉快なコントラバスが響き、心が暖められるようでした。

Fantastic illumination at Museumsquartier in Vienna ウィーンのMQ広場のファンタスティックなイルミネーション
Right now when you visit Museumsquartier after dark, you will be amazed! Fantastic light show will be displayed. These lights move with different shapes and colours. It is indescribable! I can only say that you have to see it for yourself.
現在、暗くなってからMQ広場を訪れた人は感動的に驚くことでしょう。素晴らしい光のショーを見ることができるからです。これらの光は色も形も次々と変容し、動いていきます。凄い！の一言です。是非、ご自分の目でご覧になって、としか言えません。

Christmas market at Spittelberg in Vienna ウィーンのシュッピテルベルクのクリスマス市
Christmas market at Spittelberg was opened yesterday! I think it is one of the very first markets to open this year in Vienna. My husband and I went there. There was not too much of a crowd but filled with a joyful atmosphere.
昨日、シュピッテルベルクのクリスマス市が開きました！多分、この冬、ウィーンで一番早く開いた市の一つだと思います。早速、夫と二人で行ってきました。まだ、人はそれほど出ていませんでしたが、楽しい雰囲気に包まれていました。

Recently the days become much shorter every day and dusk begins very early here in Vienna. I have a feeling that when it is so dark, activities are somewhat restricted. But thankfully in the city there are beautiful lights and I do not feel so lonely. Going for a walk in the dark is not so bad after all.
日に日に暮れるのが早くなっていくウィーンのこのごろです。暗くなると、行動に制限がかかるような気がしていました。しかし、街の灯りが美しいので、あまり寂しくありません。夜の散歩も悪くないと思います。
銀杏の葉の黄色が暗い中に浮かび上がります。
