“Liebe, du Himmel auf Erden” from “Paganini” (F. Lehár)「愛、地上の天国よ」F.レハール作曲「パガニーニ」より

This is one of my favourite arias and I have often performed it in various concerts. This recording was made around 1998 in Moscow. That recording was a special experience for me and I often remember it.
これは私の好む曲の一つで、何度も歌う機会に恵まれてきました。１９９８年頃にモスクワで行ったこの録音は、非常に印象深く、今もよく思い出します。１９９９年発表の私のCD「ウィーンのメロディー」に収録しました。
In this aria, Napoleon’s sister Elisa expresses her profound love for the Violinist Paganini.
ナポレオンの姉妹のエリーザは、ヴァイオリニストパガニーニへの熱い想いを、この曲に歌います。
